Anas ibn Malik fortalte, at et tamfår blev malket for Allahs sendebud mens det var i Anas ibn Maliks hus. Dets mælk blev blandet med vand fra brønden i Anas' hus. Allahs sendebud fik bægeret, og han drak af det, indtil han tog bægeret fra sin mund. Han havde en beduin til sin højre side og til venstre var Abu Bakr. Umar, der frygtede, at han ville give det til beduinen, sagde: "Giv det til Abu Bakr, O Guds sendebud, siden du har det." Så gav han det til beduinen, der var til hans højre side, og så sagde han: "Til højre, og så igen til højre."

Narrated Az-Zuhri:Anas bin Malik said, that once a domestic sheep was milked for Allahs Messenger (?) while he was in the
house of Anas bin Malik. The milk was mixed with water drawn from the well in Anass house. A
tumbler of it was presented to Allahs Messenger (?) who drank from it. Then Abu Bakr was sitting on his
left side and a bedouin on his right side. When the Prophet (?) removed the tumbler from his mouth,
`Umar was afraid that the Prophet (?) might give it to the bedouin, so he said. "O Allahs Messenger (?)! Give it
to Abu Bakr who is sitting by your side." But the Prophet (?) gave it to the bedouin, who was to his right
and said, "You should start with the one on your right side."
Arabisk:
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّهَا حُلِبَتْ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم شَاةٌ دَاجِنٌ وَهْىَ فِي دَارِ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، وَشِيبَ لَبَنُهَا بِمَاءٍ مِنَ الْبِئْرِ الَّتِي فِي دَارِ أَنَسٍ، فَأَعْطَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْقَدَحَ فَشَرِبَ مِنْهُ، حَتَّى إِذَا نَزَعَ الْقَدَحَ مِنْ فِيهِ، وَعَلَى يَسَارِهِ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعَنْ يَمِينِهِ أَعْرَابِيٌّ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ وَخَافَ أَنْ يُعْطِيَهُ الأَعْرَابِيَّ أَعْطِ أَبَا بَكْرٍ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ عِنْدَكَ. فَأَعْطَاهُ الأَعْرَابِيَّ الَّذِي عَلَى يَمِينِهِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ
" الأَيْمَنَ فَالأَيْمَنَ ".

Anas fortalte: Allahs sendebud kom til vores hus her og bad om vand. Så malkede vi et af vores får til ham, så blandede jeg noget af vandet fra vores brønd i det og gav det til ham og Abu Bakr, som sad til venstre for ham og Umar sad over for ham og en beduin sad til højre for ham. Da han var færdig, sagde Umar: "Det er Abu Bakrs tur." Så gav han det til beduinen og sagde derefter: "Dem til højre, dem til højre og så dem til højre." Anas sagde: "Dette er en Sunnah, dette er en Sunnah," tre gange.

Narrated Anas:Once Allahs Messenger (?) visited us in this house of ours and asked for something to drink. We milked one
of our sheep and mixed it with water from this well of ours and gave it to him. Abu Bakr was sitting
on his left side and `Umar in front of him and a bedouin on his right side. When Allahs Messenger (?)
finished, `Umar said to Allahs Messenger (?) "Here is Abu Bakr." But Allahs Messenger (?) gave the remaining
milk to the bedouin and said twice, "The (persons on the) right side! So, start from the right side."
Anas added, "It is a Sunna (the Prophets traditions)" and repeated it thrice.

حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلاَلٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو طَوَالَةَ ـ اسْمُهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ـ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا ـ رضى الله عنه ـ يَقُولُ أَتَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي دَارِنَا هَذِهِ، فَاسْتَسْقَى، فَحَلَبْنَا لَهُ شَاةً لَنَا، ثُمَّ شُبْتُهُ مِنْ مَاءِ بِئْرِنَا هَذِهِ، فَأَعْطَيْتُهُ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ، وَعُمَرُ تُجَاهَهُ وَأَعْرَابِيٌّ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ قَالَ عُمَرُ هَذَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ. فَأَعْطَى الأَعْرَابِيَّ، ثُمَّ قَالَ
" الأَيْمَنُونَ، الأَيْمَنُونَ، أَلاَ فَيَمِّنُوا ". قَالَ أَنَسٌ فَهْىَ سُنَّةٌ فَهْىَ سُنَّةٌ. ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ.
