Anas bin Malik fortalte: En af Abu Talhas sønner blev syg og døde, og Abu Talha var på det tidspunkt ikke hjemme. Da hans kone så, at han var død, forberedte hun ham (vaskede og indhyllede ham) og placerede ham et sted i huset. Da Abu Talha kom, spurgte han: "Hvordan har drengen det?" Hun sagde: "Barnet er roligt, og jeg håber, han har fred." Abu Talha troede, at hun havde talt sandt. Abu Talha tilbragte natten over, og om morgenen tog han et bad, og da han ville gå ud, fortalte hun ham, at hans søn var død. Abu Talha bad (morgen)bønnen med profeten og informerede profeten om, hvad der var sket. Allahs Sendebud sagde: "Må Allah velsigne dig i din nat. (Det vil sige, må Allah velsigne dig med et godt afkom)." Sufyan sagde: "En af Ansar sagde: De (dvs. Abu Talha og hans kone) havde ni sønner, og de blev alle recitatorer af Koranen (udenad)."

Narrated Anas bin Malik:One of the sons of Abu Talha became sick and died and Abu Talha at that time was not at home.
When his wife saw that he was dead, she prepared him (washed and shrouded him) and placed him
somewhere in the house. When Abu Talha came, he asked, "How is the boy?" She said, "The child is
quiet and I hope he is in peace." Abu Talha thought that she had spoken the truth. Abu Talha passed
the night and in the morning took a bath and when he intended to go out, she told him that his son had
died, Abu Talha offered the (morning) prayer with the Prophet (?) and informed the Prophet (?) of what
happened to them. Allahs Messenger (?) said, "May Allah bless you concerning your night. (That is, may
Allah bless you with good offspring)." Sufyan said, "One of the Ansar said, They (i.e. Abu Talha and
his wife) had nine sons and all of them became reciters of the Quran (by heart). "

حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ يَقُولُ اشْتَكَى ابْنٌ لأَبِي طَلْحَةَ ـ قَالَ ـ فَمَاتَ وَأَبُو طَلْحَةَ خَارِجٌ، فَلَمَّا رَأَتِ امْرَأَتُهُ أَنَّهُ قَدْ مَاتَ هَيَّأَتْ شَيْئًا وَنَحَّتْهُ فِي جَانِبِ الْبَيْتِ، فَلَمَّا جَاءَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ قَالَ كَيْفَ الْغُلاَمُ قَالَتْ قَدْ هَدَأَتْ نَفْسُهُ، وَأَرْجُو أَنْ يَكُونَ قَدِ اسْتَرَاحَ. وَظَنَّ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ أَنَّهَا صَادِقَةٌ، قَالَ فَبَاتَ، فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ اغْتَسَلَ، فَلَمَّا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَخْرُجَ، أَعْلَمَتْهُ أَنَّهُ قَدْ مَاتَ، فَصَلَّى مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ثُمَّ أَخْبَرَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِمَا كَانَ مِنْهُمَا، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" لَعَلَّ اللَّهَ أَنْ يُبَارِكَ لَكُمَا فِي لَيْلَتِكُمَا ". قَالَ سُفْيَانُ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ فَرَأَيْتُ لَهُمَا تِسْعَةَ أَوْلاَدٍ كُلُّهُمْ قَدْ قَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ.

Fortalt af Asma: Profeten sagde til mig: "Tilbagehold ikke dine penge, for så vil Allah tilbageholde sine velsignelser fra dig." Fortalt af `Abda: Profeten sagde: "Tilbagehold ikke dine penge ved at hobe dem op, for så vil Allah også tilbageholde Sine velsignelser fra dig."
Engelsk:
Narrated Asma:The Prophet (?) said to me, "Do not withhold your money, (for if you did so) Allah would withhold His
blessings from you."
Narrated `Abda:
The Prophet (?) said, "Do not withhold your money by counting it (i.e. hoarding it), (for if you did so),
Allah would also withhold His blessings from you."

حَدَّثَنَا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدَةُ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتْ قَالَ لِي النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ تُوكِي فَيُوكَى عَلَيْكِ ". حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدَةَ، وَقَالَ، " لاَ تُحْصِي فَيُحْصِيَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكِ "

Asma bint Abu Bakr fortalte, at hun var gået til profeten, og han sagde: "Luk ikke din pengepung, ellers vil Allah også holde sine velsignelser tilbage fra dig. Giv så meget, som du har råd til."

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ، عَنْ حَجَّاجِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَنَّهَا جَاءَتْ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ
" لاَ تُوعِي فَيُوعِيَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكِ، ارْضَخِي مَا اسْتَطَعْتِ ".

Abdullah ibn Hisham fortalte, at hans mor, Zaynab bint Humayd, bragte ham til Allahs Sendebud og sagde: "O Allahs Sendebud, tag imod hans troskabsed." Han sagde: "Han er for ung." Så strøg han ham over hovedet og bad for ham. Og Zuhrah ibn Ma'bad fortalte, at hans bedstefar, Abdullah ibn Hisham, plejede at tage ham med på markedet for at købe mad, og Ibn Umar og Ibn al-Zubayr ville møde ham og sige til ham: "Del med os, for Profeten bad for dig med velsignelser." Så ville han dele med dem. Nogle gange opnåede han en hel kamelfuld og sendte det til huset.

Narrated `Abdullah bin Hisham:that his mother Zainab bint Humaid took him to the Prophet (?) and said, "O Allahs Messenger (?)! Take the
pledge of allegiance from him." But he said, "He is still too young for the pledge," and passed his
hand on his (i.e. `Abdullahs) head and invoked for Allahs blessing for him. Zuhra bin Ma`bad stated
that he used to go with his grandfather, `Abdullah bin Hisham, to the market to buy foodstuff. Ibn
`Umar and Ibn Az-Zubair would meet him and say to him, "Be our partner, as the Prophet (?) invoked
Allah to bless you." So, he would be their partner, and very often he would win a camels load and
send it home.

حَدَّثَنَا أَصْبَغُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ زُهْرَةَ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ ـ وَكَانَ قَدْ أَدْرَكَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَذَهَبَتْ بِهِ أُمُّهُ زَيْنَبُ بِنْتُ حُمَيْدٍ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ بَايِعْهُ. فَقَالَ
" هُوَ صَغِيرٌ ". فَمَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ وَدَعَا لَهُ. وَعَنْ زُهْرَةَ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَخْرُجُ بِهِ جَدُّهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ هِشَامٍ إِلَى السُّوقِ فَيَشْتَرِي الطَّعَامَ فَيَلْقَاهُ ابْنُ عُمَرَ وَابْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ ـ رضى الله عنهم ـ فَيَقُولاَنِ لَهُ أَشْرِكْنَا، فَإِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَدْ دَعَا لَكَ بِالْبَرَكَةِ فَيَشْرَكُهُمْ، فَرُبَّمَا أَصَابَ الرَّاحِلَةَ كَمَا هِيَ، فَيَبْعَثُ بِهَا إِلَى الْمَنْزِلِ.
